Sunday Confession

This morning I participated in the Lymphoma Research Society's annual Lymphomathon in Seattle. I think it would be appropriate to say my Sunday Confession is... I REALLY HATE CANCER.

My Father in-law passed away in October of 2010 from this horrible disease and it has effected my life immensely.  For the past five years we have participated in this walk - which fundraises money towards finding a cure for Lymphomic cancer.  Today was a day of remembrance, sadness, hope and celebration - I pray so hard that in my lifetime there is a cure.

The Chain of Hope

  3. Cancer really sucks. I posted about it a while back, and saw that it is also something that strangely brings people together. So awesome that you chose to honor his memory in things like this.
